When you create an account we collect your email address and any name you choose to provide. When you run a VIN lookup we store the VIN, the result, and a timestamp — associated with your account so you can review your search history.
We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging purposes. We use cookies only for session management and authentication.
We don't collect payment card details directly — all billing is handled by Stripe. We don't run analytics that build advertising profiles. We don't use tracking pixels or third-party ad scripts.
Your data is used to operate the service — authenticate your account, process lookups, manage your credit balance, and send transactional emails (receipts, password resets).
We may use aggregated, anonymized search data to report platform-level statistics (e.g., total vehicles indexed, total trips tracked). This data cannot be traced back to individual users or searches.
Your personal information and search history are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.
We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your billing information. We don't share any other personal data with third parties except as required by law.
Your account data and search history are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized records may be retained indefinitely.
You can export your search history as a CSV from your account at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us directly. We'll process requests within 30 days.
