Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Dromos in any way, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What Dromos provides

Dromos provides VIN lookup reports that include ride-share platform match status, trip count, rental location, listing dates, and vehicle identity data sourced from publicly available or licensed ride-sharing platform data.

Results reflect our database at the time of the search. We do not guarantee completeness or real-time accuracy. A clean result means the VIN was not found in our database — it is not a guarantee the vehicle was never used on a ride-sharing platform.

3. Accounts and credits

Each VIN lookup costs one credit. Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Credit pack purchases never expire. Credits are non-refundable once consumed.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API key. Do not share your API key publicly.

4. Acceptable use

Dromos is for lawful personal, commercial, and research use. You may not:

  • Resell or redistribute lookup results as a standalone data product
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract the underlying database
  • Use the service to harass, stalk, or identify individuals
  • Circumvent rate limits or credit accounting through technical means
  • Use the API in ways that violate applicable laws

5. Billing and cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. You can cancel at any time — your access continues through the end of the current billing period. We do not issue prorated refunds for unused subscription time.

Credit pack purchases are final. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 14 days.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Dromos is provided "as is." We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of the data for any particular purpose. Use the results as one input among many when evaluating a vehicle purchase, not as the sole basis for any decision.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dromos and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to vehicle purchase decisions made in reliance on lookup results.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We'll notify active subscribers of material changes by email.
